Trish Neufeld

Trish Neufeld is a Canadian director and producer whose passion for filmmaking ignited in childhood. Her early days with a Hi8 camera evolved into productions with some of the world’s largest media companies.
She is currently directing a two-part series for Paramount+, scheduled for release in fall 2025. She recently directed the true-crime series In Cold Water: The Shelter Bay Mystery, a three-part special released on Amazon Prime in November 2024.
Her previous projects include Lulu Guru: The Man Behind the Yoga Pants and Dancing with Mom for Knowledge Network—her first feature documentary, which premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and won a Leo Award for Best Screenwriting. Trish also directed five seasons of The New Wave of Stand Up for CBC, a series nominated for the Canadian Screen Awards.
Her broader experience spans roles as a story producer on The Age of AI for YouTube Premium, writer-director of the short documentary Save Space Nugget for TELUS, and Associate Producer for the animated film Max Steel: Dark Rival with Mainframe Entertainment.
Trish attended the Producer’s Lab (2003) at the Canadian Film Centre in Toronto. She holds a Master’s degree in Communications and a diploma in Media Studies from Capilano University.
Her journey from amateur filmmaker to professional has been marked by a commitment to authenticity, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit. For Trish, the greatest reward is witnessing the connections her work fosters with its audience, and creating shared experiences that resonate deeply.
